A New Adventure: Delivering a Porta Potty to an Island

Throughout the years we have delivered porta potties for weddings and corporate events to dozens of different locations. While our main area of focus is Charlotte, North Carolina, we travel all over the Southeast region, from Georgia to Virginia, Nashville to Charleston, and beyond. One adventure we had last year, however, tops them all!

We have gotten comfortable traveling a long distance to provide portable restroom trailers, but this inquiry was different: they wanted a delivery on an island - and not one we could travel to via any kind of bridge! Bald Head Island in North Carolina is unique because it requires a 20-minute ferry ride to travel there. We were initially unsure if this would even be a possibility, but with a little creative thinking and some good contacts, we decided to make it happen for our clients.

Thankfully we thought to snap a photo of the setup, because when is the last time you saw a truck hauling a bathroom on board a ferry?! The delivery was a success, along with the event itself, and now we have a way to service any weddings or events on Bald Head Island or any other place only accessible by ferry!
